Product Description
TPV in English is Thermoplastic Vulcanizate. Literal interpretation: T——Thermo, the meaning of “热” in Chinese; P——plastic, meaning in Chinese “plastic, plastic”; V——Vulcanizate, meaning in Chinese“vulcanized rubber” , Taken together to understand, TPV refers to thermoplastic vulcanizate.
TPV can be formed between many plastics and rubbers, but only a few blends have practical value after dynamic vulcanization. Currently, the commercialized ones are PP/PE/EPDM, PP/NBR, PP/ACM, PS/SEBS .
TPV basic properties: TPV material is also known as thermoplastic dynamic vulcanization elastomer, TPV appearance is light yellow or black particles (the picture shows light yellow TPV particles), TPV material has excellent wear resistance and elasticity, tensile strength High, good aging resistance, high temperature resistance and certain acid and alkali resistance and solvent resistance. TPV has excellent high temperature resistance and can be used continuously at 120°C. It can be used with PP, PA, PC, ABS, PS, PBT, PET, etc. Co-injection or extrusion molding of multiple materials.
TPV material application Field:
Electronics:
1, various earphone cable sheaths, earphone cable connectors;
2, mine cable, CNC coaxial cable, ordinary and high-grade wire and cable insulation and sheath;
3, power sockets, plugs and sheaths, etc.;
4, battery, wireless phone shell and electronic transformer shell sheath;
5. Insulation layer and sheath of power cables for ships, mines, drilling platforms, nuclear power plants and other facilities.
Automotive Industry:
1, automobile sealing strips, seal series;
2, automobile dust cover, mudguard, ventilation pipe, buffer, bellows, intake pipe, etc.;
3. Automobile high-voltage ignition wire. It can withstand 30-40KV voltage and meet UL94 V0 flame-retardant requirements;
